By the 1970s, compact engineering met golf with the “Super Stick” a remarkable, though complex, telescopic club that offered 17 clubs in one Designed to be a full-bag replacement including settings from driver to putter. The compact, sliding shaft mechanism was impressive but, being ahead of its era, it brought challenges:

• The club face was smaller than traditional clubs, making consistent shots harder.
• Adjusting loft and length required careful adjustment.

Inventor & Patent Details

The SuperStick was patented in 1974 by inventor Donald Moore, who intended golfers to carry a single all-in-one club.
